What is the Resistance Through Music program?

Resistance Through Music is a program where a band is paired with a family currently in Gaza to fundraise for.

How does it work?

Resistance Through Friendship will provide stickers and signage for bands to include at their merch tables while on tour, including a QR code with a direct link to the family and suggested donation of $1-5 in exchange for the sticker.

Who is Resistance Through Friendship?

Founded by Beth Bollinger and Molly Abrahamson, Resistance Through Friendship primary goal is to build a community of grassroots donors who provide sustainable support for families experiencing genocide. The community of donors also offers a place for people to heal, make friends, and have an impact.

Do I need anything additional at the point of sale to do this at my band’s merch table?

Nope :) Simply instruct donors to donate via the QR code and then provide them with a sticker. No need to monitor each transaction either; this is a trust-based process. Worst comes to worst and a donor does not complete the donation to a family, they are still promoting the cause via the sticker :)
